Words 4 MS Program Criteria
Overview
The Words 4 MS program was created to empower and inspire people in the multiple sclerosis (MS) community by encouraging them to share their story. The program allows individuals living with MS, as well as people who know someone impacted by MS, to have their voices heard through selected videos on mslifelines.com. Check out the below video to see what people had to say about their MS journey.
You can share your own 4 words, too! Video submissions (max 10-seconds) are currently being accepted and should follow the theme of Words 4 MS and include four words to describe a personal achievement. Entries must follow the submission criteria.
The program, which is open to all people living with or impacted by MS, is intended to empower and inspire. We encourage you to share this video at Facebook.com/MSVoicesAMultipleSclerosisCommunity.
Submission Process
- Members of the MS community (people with MS, caregivers, healthcare professionals, friends, etc.) are encouraged to share their inspiring story by uploading a short video via mslifelines.com. Each video will show four inspiring, thought-provoking words that say how the individual feels or reminds him of someone in his life who has helped them through their MS journey
Rules/Criteria for Submission
- A predetermined set of rules for the content of the videos (listed below) will be enforced. We will review videos as they are received to ensure this criteria is followed. If the criteria are not followed, you will receive an email notification. Individuals must abide by the rules in order for their videos to be considered for display on the MS LifeLines Web site. The videos selected by program representatives will be included in a video montage and shown on the MS LifeLines Web site.
-
All submissions must meet the following criteria:
- No mention of any specific treatment (branded, generic or alternative therapies)
-
No mention of adverse events (AEs)
- If therapies or AEs are mentioned, videos will be automatically disqualified (and the individual will be notified if they opted-in) and shared with the appropriate Pfizer/EMD Serono representatives for reporting purposes
- Logos may not be worn on any clothing/apparel in the video (example: Nike) and the videos should not include music
- Videos must not exceed the time limit (maximum of 10 seconds) and should only display 4 words describing the impact of MS on the person's life
- Videos must be in Windows Media or Quick Time format
- A signed consent form with opt-in for future contact is required before any video is posted to the MS LifeLines Web site
-
All submissions will be reviewed and selected by program representatives (WCG) based on the program criteria.
- Videos will be reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure the content meets the rules/criteria outlined above.
